Working for a competitive client on both construction and maintenance programs assures access to the newest ingenuity in media and broadcast related to workplace performance. Working both directly for the end user and as a trade partner for Benchmark Builders, a boutique interiors contractor with a specialty in broadcast and media projects, Adco has completed numerous large-scale renovations across the midtown portfolio.
A notable project was the headquarters expansion where Adco was a trade partner on the construction of the executive offices, boardroom and conference center, multi-station food service and cafeteria, screening rooms, and general office space. Designed as a highly collaborative environment, the executive floor features a central plaza with a gallery space of frame-lit glass cases holding movie props and costumes. Gensler provided architectural services and was supported by AMA Consulting Engineers for the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering on the project.
Over a fifteen year period, Adco has consistently provided installation for electrical infrastructure and redundancy, power distribution, complex lighting, and low voltage systems for security, AV, and sound masking. Adco’s extended services include maintenance to continually support this 24/7 state-of-the-industry client.
